Lynchburg House #2 (oil 5x7) SOLD

Turning right after I painted the other home I painted this house on my laptop paintbox. A local lady told me that this used to be a funeral home a good while back.

Lynchburg and BBQ

Destination Lynchburg. See you there.

Moore County Courthouse (oil 9x12)

This is the Moore County Courthouse in Lynchburg TN on a fall day. It's a very popular landmark and will be surrounded by BBQ this weekend at the festival. I will be there at Local Palette Gallery so drop by and say hello. We are right between the old jail and Mrs. Bobo's.

Sunrise Ride

On early morning rides I am treated to some wonderful sunrises. Lock these colors and patterns in the memory banks head on to work and paint them at home! Sometimes I am lucky and see a hoot owl or hawk in a tree scoping out their breakfast.

LazY

The Hendersonville Art Show went well for me. Hello to all the fine folks I met. The Art Show crew kept us well fed. Been lazy about posting this week. I have a big piece I am getting ready to start and am doing my sketches for.
How bout that economy? Should we start drinking heavily?.... Nah, I will have a sip of Dickel though, work hard and remain positive. Gas prices are coming down.

Auto Shop on Jefferson Street (acrylic 9x10) *SOLD*

This is on Jefferson Street in Nashville. Most artist like the light when it's low in the sky and makes long shadows. Count me as another.
This painting is at the All Things Nashville Show with the Chestnut Group at the Belle Meade Mansion.
