Blue Ridge Afternoon (gouache 9x6) $80

A late afternoon in the blue ridge mountains. I saw this in October and did a pencil thumbnail to lock the scene in my memory while the temperature was dropping. I painted this gouache from it.

Thanks for coming by my site — I'm glad you dig my watercolors. I've just enjoyed looking through your back pages. Radnor Lake! Nice work. You're the closest to home painter I've yet come across in the blogosphere. I've got you bookmarked now! Have to go feed the cats before they call Animal Control. (You must know how that is.)

And I like this particular painting very much.

Gosh, its gouache! Hey Chris--nice work. Rich, saturated color. Like your pinup girl too.

Wow! Your blues make me feel the temperature dropping. Very nice, indeed.
