Dusk (acrylic 6/8) $60

I drove to the store the other evening at dusk with the moon out and the business lights just coming on. The cows were doing their thing. I locked the scene in my memory and painted it before I went to bed. I always like the light at this time of day. If interested in buying email me.

Beautiful! Very serene palette, perfect for this time of day. Wonderful greens. You painted this from memory? Wow!!

This is so soft and I can't believe you have that kind of mind to paint from memory. jealous in washington

I learned a lot from David Millard's book on working from memory and quick notes. The scene was "close enough for jazz" as one of my old art teacher would say.
